These are just a few pictures of ideas I found, that I am working into the reception.
I love this tree. Funny thing is- when my Nana died and we moved out of her old house, my mom dug out one of her trees from the back yard and put it in a similar pot of cement to keep forever. So it looks like this (dead) and only taller. Right now it's just a tornado of decorations and lights in the corner of my mother's living room, but for the wedding we are going to give it a fabulous make over to look kind of like this one.
Next- is the Candy Table. I wanted it mostly for decoration. I know that seems silly but I think itll look awesome. Mom thinks its a great idea for the thousands of kids that will be there.
Also at the candy table we'll maybe have a few balloons hovering above, and some cute little candy bags to use. I dunno, still trying to figure that out!
And then we have the cake. I have a few friends that actually make cakes. Not professionally, but just for fun and actually do a great job. But I kind of decided this is the cake that I want. Now I just need to see if I can find someone to do it at a reasonable price. Im not so much worried about have 5 or 6 tiers, more so like 2 to 3 would make me happy. Topped with a beautiful, sparkly, "M" And if there isnt enough cake for guests, we can have 100 cupcakes to match. I was thinking a Chocolate Raspberry flavor but PJ is boring and he just wants vanilla or something simple. Aint happening ;)
And believe me. I am NOT a Bridezilla. Although my mother calls me that ofcourse, cause she thinks that I am. I really am not. I just want to marry the man of my dreams under God with all the people we love most around us to celebrate. This wedding actually started by us saying we were going to go to a JP or get married in Town Hall. And it's just grew out of control. I went from having 20 people to 150 because we have so many friends & family that we are close to. Its outrageous. All I know is that we are all doing our best to make my dreams come true and in the end, whatever will be, will be. And atleast I will be a married woman! Wahoo!
