Exercise Is Key- Right?
So I have cut down on what I eat but I haven't done much exercising. If I can lose 5 lbs in a little over 2 weeks without any exercise, imagine what I could lose with daily exercising? It's all about motivation. I am so used to being a slug that even though "getting up & just doing it" sounds easy- it's really not that easy for me. Or probably anyone like me. Someone told me the other day that "it takes 21 days to make a habit." Im almost at 21 so this eating-right task should be super easy in no time. Now I just need to work out for 21 days straight to make it a daily routine.... or a habit.
Alison (who I have mentioned as my motivator & pharmacist ) has incorporated some exercise into everyone's nightly routine at work. Whoever does the most amount of minutes sticking it out, gets first choice of their nightly tasks. For instance, lastnight we did planks, wall sits, and dips. Like the exercises above. And I stuck it out on a wall sit for 45 seconds. Although my head was about to pop I won. So I got to choose to fill vials & caps, while Nikki got stuck with doing trash!
Being that my gym membership runs out within the next month, and I have only made it there ONCE in a whole entire year. It is just not convenient for me, a town away, and with my busy work schedule and driving PJ back and forth everywhere. Alison sent me home with a list of daily exercises that I can do without any gym equipment. So I plan on doing these daily ( I'll try my best ) and maybe a video every other day. FYI: I did just walk 19 minutes around the beach with my aunt. She just moved here and I had to show her to an ATM machine so we decided to walk it out :) It was fun.....
